When one of NZ’s pioneering craft breweries turns 20, it’s time to celebrate! This month Renaissance Brewing turns 20 and they have come to the party with the ultimate celebration pack, showcasing their journey, their cult classics, heaps of new brews and a very special 20th Birthday Hazy IPA just for you! 

Since September 2005, Renaissance Brewing has proudly stood among New Zealand’s craft beer pioneers, producing ultra-premium ales that enlighten the palate and thrill the senses. They started brewing from humble roots, driven by a commitment to quality, creativity and locality — using New Zealand hops and malts and drawing on British, American and European styles to build a range that’s uniquely Renaissance. 

Over two decades, Renaissance has not only survived but helped lead the craft beer revolution here: championing experimental beers and pushing boundaries with dark ales like Stonecutter Scotch Ale, and Elemental Porter styles that have earned consistent praise. Renaissance’s Hazies, IPAs and Pilsners rival the very best NZ has to offer. This pack is a real celebration of NZ brewing. It has it all! 

Their journey is marked by many standout moments. In 2010, Renaissance earned HACCP accreditation, gold medals for beers like Elemental Porter and Stonecutter, and our work was acknowledged overseas when we were shortlisted for Champion Small Brewery at the Australian International Beer Awards. In 2013, Renaissance was crowned Champion New Zealand Brewery at the Brewers Guild Awards. They successfully defended their title in 2014 at AIBA, becoming the first NZ brewery to retain Champion International Small Brewery.

Through it all, their core remains unchanged: award-winning New Zealand craft beer, born in Marlborough wine country, brewed with local ingredients, with flavour, balance and soul at the heart.

• 🙌20 Years Hazy IPA 440ml (5.0%): 20 years of making magic and still going strong! What better way to celebrate than with a juicy hazy ipa featuring loads of Nectaron hops and fermented with Pomona yeast for a big tropical hit. Cheers to you, our fans and loyal supporters. Without you we wouldn’t be here!
• 🙌Boom Double IPA 440ml (7.2%): Is an American style Double IPA with a light but balanced malt body giving the hops the chance to do the talking. Lots of citrus, stone fruit and pine notes. With a long lingering bitter finish. Here comes the boom.
• 🙌Paradox Pilsner 440ml (4.0%): The explosion of passionfruit and citrus aromas - the signature of the Riwaka hop - leave no doubt you're in for more than mere refreshment with our Paradox. Initial biscuity malt sweetness is soon joined by those zingy hop notes, it’s flavour-packed, yet crisp and thirst-quenching.
• 🙌Voyager IPA 440ml (6.0%): Malty, delicious and aromatic - Old School, British Style IPA. Light Amber colour. Hints of lime, pine, citrus and caramel. Rich Malt backbone and a restrained use of hops.
• 🙌Discover APA 440ml (4.5%): Refreshing, crisp and aromatic—a golden hoppy ale. APA's were designed to showcase the unique resiny fruitiness of American hops. There's a honeyish maltiness but Nelson grown hops soon fill the mouth with their grapefruit-like zestiness and lingering tangy resins, delivering distinct up-front fruit flavours that pack a punch.
• 🙌Stonecutter Scotch Ale (7.0%): Malty, rich and full-bodied—a complex and warming ale. Nine malts are blended to produce layers of caramel, toffee, liquorice, chocolate and roasty flavours, balanced by a tart, raisiny fruitiness that gives way to a lingering dry finish.
• 🙌15 Years Hazy IPA 440ml (6.5%): Celebrating 15 years of brewing; This beer has a good malt backbone fermented with kviek yeast which creates a massive tropical fruit bomb! With plenty of hops including Azacca, Huell Melon and Motueka.
• 🙌Elemental Porter 440ml (6.0%): Dark, rich and mellow—a balance of hops and roasted malts. Originally the beer of choice for workers in London's produce markets, Elemental Porter is brewed in the modern 'robust' style; a rich full-bodied brew with hints of chocolate which gives way to a cleansing hop-driven finish.
• 🙌Renaissance Lager 440ml (4.0%): As a nation of intrepid people, New Zealanders are great at working together to create new things. The same can be said of the country's brewers who have collaborated to create an exciting, vibrant, international industry. Renaissance Lager is our celebration of our unique New Zealand flavour and tribute to the everyday Kiwi.
• 🙌Apollo Hazy IPA 440ml (6.0%): Bursting with juicy tropical fruit and citrus hop notes, this hazy IPA delivers a smooth, cloudy pour and a soft finish.
• 🙌Revolution IPA 440ml (6.0%): A bold India Pale Ale that brings together a fierce hit of Kiwi hops with a refined, distinguished malt backbone – the perfect balance of grit and sophistication in every sip.
• 🙌Renaissance WC Pilsner 440ml (5.9%): A bold India Pale Ale that brings together a fierce hit of Kiwi hops with a refined, distinguished malt backbone – the perfect balance of grit and sophistication in every sip.
