We are honoured to join forces with the Brewers Guild of New Zealand to bring you this official release, celebrating the best of the best from the 2026 NZ Beer Awards!

This is without a doubt the most anticipated release of the year. It’s the Official 2026 New Zealand Beer Awards Champions Section – a celebration of 20 years of excellence in NZ brewing. 

This year’s competition attracted an impressive 660 entries across 15 beer classes from 74 entrants. The quality of beer entered this year was exceptional. An impressive 85% of entries achieved a medal, representing a 2.5% increase on last year, evidence that the standard of brewing in New Zealand continues to improve year after year.

Judged by a team of 26 international judges for being ‘true to style’ based on the stringent US Brewers Association Style Guidelines, as well as the Brewers Guild of New Zealand Entry Guidelines, this exceptional selection of Trophy and Gold Medal winners represents the very best of New Zealand brewing. These beers set the standard of excellence and the results are in!
