Geoff and Clayton Gwynne spent childhood summers burning their feet on the sand and riding waves in Waipu Cove. This slice of delicious Pacific paradise was home-away-from-home when they were wee ones, so when it came time to kick corporate life to the kerb, they knew where to go.
Containing all your favourite beer styles this is a must have box of beers for craft lovers. You’ll get the following 12x 440mls;
- 🦬Far Away IPA (6.0%): We've blended Australian Eclipse and US Idaho 7 hops here for big clementine and lemon peel aroma and flavour over a moreish soft biscuit malt base and balanced bitterness.
- 🦬Sail Rock NZ Pale Ale (5.4%): Bursting with two of NZ's finest hops - Nelson Sauvin and Nectaron - this one is clean with grassy, marmalade, citrus-driven characters with a smooth, resinous palate that's soft, integrated & balanced.
- 🦬Peaceful Sea American Pale Ale (6.0%): Generously hopped with Loral & Cascade for big, dank citrus-driven aromas backed by soft, bready malt on the palate. Finish is bitter-yet-balanced & easy-drinking.
- 🦬High Country West Coast IPA (6.5%): We've gone all in with a mid-strength IPA boasting Mosaic, Centennial and Idaho 7. It's a dank, floral and citrus-driven number that pours just like we like it!
- 🦬Paradise Pale Ale (5.5%): Our other flagship beer, an award-winning international-style Pale Ale, hoppy with a smooth malty sweetness and balanced bitterness. We use a blend of New Zealand and Australian hops to create a tropical fruit bowl of flavour and aromas.
- 🦬Seaspray Dry Hop Pilsner (5.3%): Brewed like a proper pilsner but macrodosed (in whirlpool and dry-hopping) with Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin. This makes for a lean, crisp, lager base with big, green, dank oily notes backed with delicate passionfruit for a clean, dry smashable beer.
- 🦬Crusin Cold IPA (5.7%): This one’s for beer lovers who “get it” when it comes to smooth, clean brew. A thread of floral and citrus notes over a cracker-like malt base melds with Centennial, Simcoe AND Citra hops for well-integrated bitterness.
- 🦬Jump Rock Unfiltered IPA (6.0%): Starts with one of our signature unfiltered IPA bases before we load it with heaps of Nelson Sauvin and Simcoe hops. All gooseberry, citrus and fresh pine needle up front, those flavours are mirrored on the palate alongside a hint of toffee and soft malts.
- 🦬2x East Coast Days Unfiltered Pale Ale (5.3%): This one’s a beaut, showcasing two of our US hop faves: Talus & Mosaic. Floral, dank & fruity, the question when you crack into it isn’t “What’s there to love?” but “What’s NOT to love?”
- 🦬2x West Coast Nights IPA (6.3%): Nectaron & Superdelic go hand in hand in this IPA, all pineapple vibing with an array of grassy tropical fruits. Smooth & delicious, balanced bitterness and bright as a late summer west coast sunset!
