We’ve secured six exceptional 500ml barrel-aged beers from the legends at Kererū Brewing - aged in ex-whisky, bourbon and French oak barrels, with some releases so limited that every bottle is individually hand-numbered.

These aren't your everyday fridge beers. They're big, bold, complex beauties made for slow sipping, sharing and savouring. 🥃🍫🍺

🎁 WHAT'S IN THE BOX?

• 🌑 Over The Moon Truffled Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout 500ml (12.3%): Aged 14 months in NZ Whisky Co casks with black truffles and single malt whisky character. Expect milk chocolate, sherried walnuts, spice and Christmas cake. Just 3,840 hand-numbered bottles produced.
• 🥃 Seraphina Barrel-Aged Scotch Ale 500ml (10.0%): Rich, smooth and nutty, aged for 10 months in French oak barrels previously used for NZ Whisky Co Double-Wood Whisky.
• 🖤 Black Swan Barrel-Aged Dark Ale 500ml (11.5%): A luxurious dark ale aged 12 months in ex-whisky French oak. Rich, smooth and beautifully warming. Only 1,593 hand-numbered bottles produced.
• 🍷 Paloma ’21 Barrel-Aged Barleywine 500ml (14.3%): The heavyweight of the box. Aged for 10+ months in NZ single malt whisky casks with dried fruit, raisin, Christmas cake and tawny port notes. Hand-numbered.
• 🌙 Night Spirit ’18 Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout 500ml (12.0%): A seriously rare vintage Imperial Stout aged 10+ months in American oak bourbon barrels that previously held NZ single malt whisky for more than 20 years. Deep, dark, intense and hand-numbered.
• 🦋 Red Admiral NZ Barrel-Aged Doppelbock 500ml (11.1%): Rich, smooth and nutty, aged for 12 months in French oak ex-whisky barrels. Only 2,652 hand-numbered bottles produced.

🍺 MADE TO BE SAVOURED

These beers can continue ageing for years when stored somewhere cool and dark, making this a brilliant box to drink now, cellar for later, or crack open one bottle at a time for special occasions.

For the full experience, Kererū recommends serving them slightly cool rather than fridge-cold - around 30 minutes in the fridge - then pouring into a stemmed glass to unleash those incredible aromas of malt, whisky, oak, chocolate, dried fruit and spice.
