Once a year our mate Finney from Emporium pulls together a very limited and exclusive release of his latest brews just for Beer Hug. If you love discovering new brews that you won’t find at your local, this is the release for you.
But you'll have to be QUICK, we only have 100 boxes. First in first served!
Emporium was founded by The Finney’s, where they started up a shop in Kaikoura in 2016. All their beers are small batch brewed for max flavour. If you are lucky enough to have tried his beers, you’ll know this is NZ craft at its very best.
Exclusive to Beer Hug, Finney has bottled 7 different brews (12x 330ml in total) for you. Every beer in this box is a banger!
Included in your Very Limited Emporium release are the following 12x 330ml;
- 🐋2x Dad Joke West Coast IPA (7.2%): Let's start with a banger. Dad Joke is full of Riwaka and Simcoe and will certainly get those jokes flowing. Citrus and beautifully balanced
- 🐋2x Angry Sky NZ Red IPA (6.0%): One of our oldest beers, in fact it was the 2nd beer we ever brewed. Rich malt paired with punchy tropical NZ hops. A great partnership
- 🐋2x Side Quest NZIPA (5.8%): Our newest IPA showcasing little used hop Southern Cross. Southern Cross is a piney, citrussy NZ hop that is wonderful in this beer paired with hop blend "The Bruce" from Freestyle. One for the nerds...
- 🐋2x Puzzled NZ Pale Ale (4.5%): Remember when everyone used to brew session IPA's? Well this isn't one of them, it is just a dang good pale ale. Comfortable pairing of Nelson Sauvin and NZ Cascade
- 🐋2x Shake it Off Hazy Pale Ale (5.0%): Our house hazy, honed to be perfectly quaffable and not too heavy on the pallet like some hazies can get. We use Mosaic, Sabro & Motueka along with a Norwegian yeast to make this a really citrus forward hazy
- 🐋1x Beach Road NZ Pilsner (4.8%): Our most consistently medaled beer. Nelson Sauvin & Motueka pair nicely on this light malt base. Pretty much an XPA, but then most NZ Pilsners are!
