Heidi Crockett is the owner of Colab Brewing, an independent brewer of specialist craft beers. Based in Warkworth, Colab Brewing creates its own high-quality seasonal beers, and collaborates with the very best producers and brewers New Zealand has to offer.
“My husband most definitely helps, but I am Colab Brewing. I have an analytical chemistry degree, so I enjoy the science side of it, and my husband used to work in electrical automation, so he loves the factory side. It combines a lot of our skills!” Heidi.

In your Colab Brewing Smashable Pack, you’ll get the following 12x 330ml brews;
- ⭐️️2 x Stratosphere West Coast IPA (5.5%): This Hop forward IPA is packed full of Strata Hops. Nice biscuit base with strong Dank flavour topped with Strawberry and Citrusy undertones.
- ⭐️2 x American Pale Ale (5.5%): A balanced combination of German malt and American aroma hops deliver a well-rounded yet hop-forward West Coast styled American Pale Ale.
- ️⭐️2 x Kiwi Draught (4.0%): A refreshing collaboration of German malt along with a smooth lashing of New Zealand and German hops create this uniquely sessionable Colab Garden Ale.
- ⭐️2 x New Squeeze Hazy IPA (6.0%): A nose full of tropical fruit straight out of the gate. The hazy nature lures you in with intrigue and leaves you with a beautiful mouth feel and a palate full of tropical fruit and citrus.
- ⭐️️2 x US Lager (5.0%): Mexican Lager that everyone one will love. It is crisp and light, with a bit of NZ Motueka to already give you the lime flavour.
- ⭐️️2 x Speakeasy XPA (4.75%): A crisp, clean malt base sets the tone for a combination of American hops that offer a refreshing hit of tropical, citrus and stone fruit aroma to take your breath away.
