To celebrate our own, in partnership with Clayton Hops, we are pumped to present a Kiwi run celebration of New Zealand’s Choicest Craft Beers as voted by YOU. If ever there was a box of beers that represented the taste of NZ, this is it!
Late last year, we received over 5,000 votes for NZ’s Choicest Craft Beers across 686 different beers. Since then, we’ve been inundated with requests to release NZ’s Top 12 Choicest Craft Beers. You ask, we deliver!
Containing the Top 12 Choicest Craft Beers in NZ right now, covering NZ’s favourite brands and beer styles, you’ll get the following 6x 440ml + 6x 330ml;
- 🏆#1 Bach Brewing Bungy Smuggler Hazy IPA 440ml (6.5%): As Kiwi as a bungy jump in Budgie smugglers, our all-star all-NZ IPA is jammed with new season Nelson grown Riwaka, Nectaron, Nelson Sauvin and Motueka hops, all nestled on juicy Gladfield malts, harvested from the Canterbury plains.
- 🥈#2 Epic Hop Zombie Double IPA 330ml (8.5%): Lupulin ichor oozing from ravaged legions. Gorging, gouging, masticating. Salivating over insane hop flavours and aromas. The time is nigh. No more festering away in hopless oblivion. Join the Hop Zombie Revolution.
- 🥉#3 DNA Humble Harry Hazy 330ml (5.0%): Humble Harry is your easy going, tropical hazy. Not too full of himself, he’s forever approachable. A mix of stonefruits and melons with a goodbye kiss of citrus to finish things off.
- 👍#4 Eddyline Crank Yanker WC IPA 440ml (6.3%): Bold West-Coast style IPA featuring El Dorado and Mosaic hops with a complex malt profile. Emphasis is on aroma over bitterness. Tropical and pine flavours with a hint of citrus-pineapple aroma!
- 👍#5 Cassels Milk Stout 330ml (5.2%): Obsidian-black with a velvety, tan head, our Milk Stout is traditionally brewed for a luscious, full-bodied mouthfeel. Aromas of bittersweet chocolate and bold coffee-and-cream is balanced with a soft roasted malt bitterness.
- 👍#6 Heyday Soul Cat Hazy IPA 440ml (5.5%): A hazy IPA with juicy tropical fruit aromas, a soft mouthfeel, and a balanced hop bitterness, leading to a refreshing finish. Great with spicy dishes or as a standalone refreshment.
- 👍#7 Behemoth Brain Smiles Hazy Pale Ale 330ml (5.4%): Mosaic and Citra Hopped. Lower in alcohol than our usual Hazy IPAs and stupidly easy to drink. Like pouring smiles on your brain.
- 👍#8 DNA Precious Pete Pilsner 330ml (5.0%): A Euro style pils ready to pop. He goes down like a sweet biscuit with malt characters, balanced by a clean dry bitterness. Think hop flavour and aromas of citrus, sandalwood spice and florals.
- 👍#9 Hop Federation Fields of Green Hazy IPA 440ml (5.8%): A Hazy IPA with dry citrus, creamy lychee and zesty grapefruit flavours. This one’s something special. A trifecta of local hops, Riwaka, Nelson Sauvin, and Motueka.
- 👍#10 Cassels Nectaron IPA 330ml (6.1%): Bringing intense tropical fruit aromas to the party. This NZ IPA has been hopped at multiple stages through its brewing journey, mellow out all that hoppy goodness with the toastiness of NZ Ale Malt and Cassels’ House Ale Strain.
- 👍#11 Hop Federation Red IPA 440ml (6.4%): Where tart ruby grapefruit meets berries and passionfruit. A comforting toasty malt on the palate, rounded off with a satisfying, sustained finish.
- 👍#12 Bach JUICY AF Hazy IPA 440ml (5.2%): On the nose blend of tropical fruits including passionfruit, tangerine, papaya, lychee, mango and grapefruit. Easier drinking at 5.2% and with a supremely balanced bitterness.
